On the morning of November 10, near the Port Authority of Binhai Road, Basuo Town, Dongfang City, Hainan, a 90-year-old man who was sick and hospitalized, ran into a crack in the wall to hide because he did not want to stay in the hospital and was trapped.

The old man was trapped in a 2.3-meter-high enclosed wall with a narrow space, in a panic.

After receiving the alarm, the Eastern Detachment of the Hainan Fire and Rescue Corps quickly dispatched fire rescue personnel to the scene.

The rescuers used the horizontal ladder to put them in the cracks, leaned over and grabbed the old man's hands.

While calming the old man's emotions softly, he guided the old man to use the horizontal ladder to climb.

Due to lack of physical strength, the old man fell several times during the climbing process, and the rescuers held his hands tightly.

After unremitting efforts, rescuers successfully rescued the trapped elderly after 11 minutes and quickly handed them over to 120 medical staff on the scene.
