Between 8 and 10% of strikers in Education, according to the ministry

In National Education, the strike rate rose to 8.78% this Tuesday in primary education and 10.36% in colleges and high schools, the ministry said.

National Education staff are mobilizing to demand a reinforced health protocol in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

The unions, for their part, reported a higher rate of strikers.

"We are around 20% in the primary", told AFP Guislaine David, general secretary of Snuipp-FSU, the first primary union, while the Snes-FSU, the first secondary union, counted "about 45 % of strikers in college ”.
