The Social Security deficit, once again weighed down by the Covid-19, has been revised upwards and should reach 49 billion euros in 2020, against 44.4 billion euros expected in October, announced on Monday the government.

"We have tabled with Olivier Veran an amendment to the #PLFSS revising the Social Security deficit for 2020 to -49 billion euros, to draw the consequences of the impact of the second wave of # COVID19", tweeted the Minister of Public Accounts , Olivier Dussopt.
