Writer and playwright Marie Ndiaye, Goncourt Prize in 2009 for her story Three powerful women, wrote Royan, the French teacher for actress Nicole Garcia.

Three words were the starting point of this eleventh play "a solitude - a betrayal - the memory".

The play is directed by Nicole Garcia's son, Frédéric Bélier-Garcia, who has already staged four Marie Ndiaye plays at the theater.
