In April 1965, Johnny Hallyday is still under the flags, but the singer obtained a twelve-day leave for his marriage with Sylvie Vartan, celebrated in the Oise.

Around them appear the witnesses Luce Dijoux, Mercedes Calmel-Rougerie, Carlos and Jean-Marie Périer.

Vartan and Hallyday, "young and beautiful"

"We were all three on a honeymoon and we found that normal", continues Jean-Marie Périer about this trip to the Canary Islands.

"Today I realize it was amazing, but we thought it was good. They were all young and beautiful and it's easier to photograph a lot of young and beautiful people than it is old and ugly people."

Beautiful people who, moreover, knew how to laugh: "Johnny is one of the guys who made me laugh the most", assures the one who was also a director in the 1970s. "Nobody laughed as well at Johnny Hallyday as him. - Same. I assure you, the Guignols, they could go and get dressed next door! "
