"I think everything is going well so far".

This is what Gims sings in the credits of

Here Everything Begins

, and it is probably what has been said on the floors of the TF1 tower since the beginning of the week.

By launching a new daily soap opera at 6.30 p.m., the bet was risky for the first channel in France, the objective of which was in particular to attract young people in front of the small screen at that time of day.

The first signs were encouraging: with 3.75 million viewers, the first episode was a real success.

More importantly, the series has attracted an additional 2 million people to the 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. time slot compared to the start of the TV season.

Full box for young people

A promising trend that was confirmed throughout the week, with an average of 3.63 million fans, according to

Puremédias

.

It should also be noted that these figures do not yet take into account the scores of the replay and Salto, the streaming platform which offers the episodes in preview.

And young people in all this ?

It seems that they too have clung to

Here Everything Begins

.

Among the audience aged 4 to 14, the market share is 20.8%, and it is just as good among 15-24 year olds, with 26.6% of the audience.

A score almost doubled compared to the programs

Bienvenue chez nous

and

Bienvenue à hôtel

, previously broadcast at the same time.

If the good audience figures for the soap opera are maintained, perhaps we will soon have the right to

Bienvenue à l'école de cuisine

 ?

Television

"If young people can see Maxime as their mentor, we will have won everything", says Clément Rémiens
