We must save the silky sifaka.

This Madagascar white lemur is one of the 100 most endangered species on the planet.

There are only 250 silky sifaka left in the world.

If the silky sifaka are disappearing, it is because they are the target of poachers for their meat in particular.

Their habitat is also destroyed by the trafficking of precious wood such as rosewood.

Finally, females are only fertile one to two days a year, like most lemurs.

The chances of reproduction are therefore very slim.

Today, the silky sifaka is critically endangered.

WWF and IUCN therefore joined forces to save it.
