Chloé Delaume won the Medici Prize for French Novel for Le Coeur Synthetic.

This literary prize is awarded while other juries have chosen to wait for the reopening of bookstores.

This is the 28th novel by this 47-year-old author, who has practiced experimental literature a lot.

The Synthetic Heart

tells the story of a press attaché in publishing, Adelaïde, divorced without children, who at the approach of her 50 years is struggling to find meaning in her life ... and a man who suits her .

It is because it has aged so much, Adelaide's heart.

He accepts reality, he knows how to protect himself.

He doesn't want to bleed anymore, still prefers empty.
