  The awards ceremony that night announced the winners of the six competition categories: "Drama", "Asian Drama", "Documentary", "Animation", "Experimental Film", and "Special Recommendation by HKBU Film Academy".

The annual gold award was won by the entry "Touch" from Korea University of Arts, and the best feature film was won by "The Last Children in Paradise" by the Munich Television and Film University, Germany.

The HKBU Film Academy Special Recommendation Award was awarded to HKBU's entry "Chen Chen".
