Decathlon’s world premiere at the 3rd CIIE, KAYAK X500, a folded inflatable kayak the size of a luggage bag, was developed by the Decathlon global kayaking team and the well-known French shipbuilding engineer Marc Ronet. Month’s research and development have undergone 7-version prototype optimization.

It not only has the portability and easy transportation of an inflatable kayak, but also has the racing and high performance of a professional kayak.

The kayak consists of 5 independent "air chambers". Even if 2 of them are pierced from different angles, the kayak floats are enough for sports enthusiasts to return to the shore safely.
