You may have seen his face run on social media these past few days.

Comedian Djédjé Apali, of Ivorian and Guadeloupean origin and known for the films

Le Gang des Antillais

and

Jeune et Jolie

, has been worryingly missing for a year.

If his disappearance is in the news today, it is because after the opening of an investigation last July, the police in Reims, where he resided, launched an appeal for witnesses in the regional press and on social networks, as reported by La 1ère.

A sister mobilized to advance the investigation

Her sister Joëlle Apali thinks "something has happened, something serious" and is fighting to advance the investigation.

Because she realizes during the summer that things are not moving forward and time passes.

She writes to the prefect and everything speeds up.

Interrogations, searching his apartment, checking his cell phone.

"In one day, the police managed to find out that my brother's cell phone was no longer active since October 2019, that he was no longer limiting", comments Joëlle Apali.

“We worked on his bank accounts, on the possible use of his credit card.

For the moment, we have no information.

This is why we launched a call for witnesses, ”indicates for his part the Reims public prosecutor, still on the La 1ère site.

Testimonies provide other information, such as an attaché who met him in Paris with a suitcase in her hand and leaving for Reims, but no certainty.

His sister remains mobilized: "We want to know, as much as possible, as much as possible".
