  • TF1's new daily series,

    Ici Tout Begins

    , was launched on Monday.

  • Among the thirty actors who make up the cast, Clément Rémiens is the star.

  • "I see this opportunity as a new role", confides the actor in an interview with

    20 Minutes

    .

A rise in rank that succeeds him.

Since November 2, Clément Rémiens is the figurehead of the new daily series of TF1.

It had been three years since viewers of the channel had rubbed shoulders with him in

Demain Nous Belongs

, but the actor flew to another universe, very close to the one in which he was revealed to the public, with

Here Everything Begins

.

Among the thirty actors who make up the cast, he is the headliner at only 23 years old.

During a visit to the shooting location, in the Gard, at the end of September, Clément Rémiens spoke with

20 Minutes

.

The opportunity to discuss the changes that this new role implies in his personal and professional life.

We present you as the main character of a series which has about thirty protagonists.

Not too much pressure?

I am introduced as the main character for this launch perhaps, but indeed, on a daily series, for the audience to identify, you have to trust other actors and so I hope the audience will continue to s 'identify with Maxime.

To give color to Maxime, he must also surround himself so the goal is for it to be a choral series.

But I am very proud to have things to defend.

What changes compared to

Tomorrow Belongs to Us

 ?

It's a big change, whether for me or for Maxime.

Personally, I change surroundings, I discover new personalities, Maxime discovers new characters so he evolves.

Me, I have the chance to discover a whole new team.

Fatally, it's different.

It is certainly the same production and the same character, but Maxime will be totally different.

If he returned to Sète tomorrow [in

Demain Nous Belongs

], it would not be the same.

Here, he's there to get involved professionally, to prove things so he behaves differently and that's why I see this opportunity as a new role… But with the same first name (

).

Do you feel like you've changed roles then?

Of course, there is a change and it felt in the stomach.

When I arrived on

Here Everything Begins

, it was a launch, I had the ball in my stomach, I had adrenaline, I wanted to go.

There is a change and I have prepared for it.

Protecting the environment is very important to you personally.

Is it also something that is going to be incorporated into the series?

This is how the new Maxime was presented to me.

He advocates local and organic cuisine, and he wants to cook with good products from the vegetable garden.

That suits me, yes, but it doesn't have to be that it is.

It's great because it's a daily series and it's important to convey good values, to talk about important subjects, which divide, to give a point of view, etc.

Defending the values of my character if that suits me, I'm rather proud of it.

It is a series that is also presented as wanting to conquer a young audience.

What can attract them?

Young people love cooking already!

We can identify ourselves.

I find it very fair to have thought about the characters before writing the screenplay.

It's a great idea that allows people to be able to relate to the screen.

Everyone will be able to identify with the stories of Maxime, Eliott, Noémie… If the young people can see their mentor or tell themselves that they want to be like him, we will have won everything.

If we can show them great values, that's very important.

You are prowled in the exercise of the daily soap opera but is there a different rhythm between

Demain Nous Belongs

and

Here Everything Begins

 ?

There is still a change of pace because I have a lot more things to defend and therefore more commitment and work to deliver.

We are so lucky to be able to play different things.

We go fast, extremely fast, that's what the people in the profession can blame us for, that we may lack a little artistic but we are lucky to be able to play a range of emotions.

Does the frantic shooting of a daily series give way to improvisation?

We don't have room for improvisation but the actor can afford to improvise if he keeps the main information.

It is a trust to be established between the director and the actor.

Me, I do not arrive on a set with my text known 100% but it is a will on my part, it is not because I am lazy.

It depends on the scenes but I allow myself to make mistakes.

The scene, I build it as I take with my partner, so it's a form of improvisation.

If you know your text too well, you will spend your time trying to fake or seek the natural because you come up with a proposal that is too frank.

You are no longer a creator at this point.
