In the next three days, due to the influence of the plateau trough, there will be rain and snow in the eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with moderate to heavy snow in parts of the southeastern Qinghai and the northern part of the Western Sichuan Plateau.

There were light to moderate rains and local heavy rains in Yunnan, southeastern Tibet and other places.

  Yesterday, 1 to 7 millimeters of snow or sleet occurred in southeastern Qinghai and the northern part of the Western Sichuan Plateau; moderate rain or heavy rain occurred in parts of central and southern Yunnan.

Typhoon "Swan" affects South China Sea

  The center of this year’s No. 19 typhoon "Swan" (Tropical Storm Level) is located at 5 o'clock in the morning today (4th) on the middle of the South China Sea, about 290 kilometers east of Sansha City (Xishan Yongxing Island), the largest near the center. There are 8 levels of wind (20 m/s), the lowest pressure at the center is 995 hPa, and the radius of the 7 level wind circle is 120 to 200 kilometers.

It is expected that the "swan" will move to the southwest at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. It will land on the coast of Binh Dinh and Phu An in Vietnam from the night of the 5th to the morning of the 6th (tropical storm level, Level 8-9, 18-23m/s), the intensity weakened rapidly after landing.

  Affected by the cold air and the "swan", from 08:00 on the 4th to 08:00 on the 5th, the Taiwan Strait, the Bashi Strait, the northeastern and western waters of the South China Sea, the Zhongsha Islands, the Paracel Islands and the coast of Fujian and the northern coast of Taiwan Island will be affected. 7 to 8 strong winds, of which, part of the central and western South China Sea winds can reach 9 and 10 gusts.

There will be heavy rains in the Zhongsha Islands and Paracel Islands, and heavy rains (100-150 mm) locally.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue typhoon warning at 06:00 on November 4.

  In addition, the center of this year’s No. 20 typhoon "Aishani" (Tropical Storm) is located at 5 o'clock in the morning today (4th) on the Northwest Pacific Ocean about 970 kilometers northeast of Manila, the Philippines. The maximum wind force near the center is 9 Level (23 m/s), the lowest central pressure is 990 hPa, and the radius of the seventh-level wind circle is 200-300 kilometers.

It is expected that "Aishani" will circulate and move less in situ. It will begin to move westward at night on the 4th, and its intensity will slowly increase. The strongest can reach the level of a severe tropical storm or typhoon (11-13, 30-38m/ second).

Rain and snow in the eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Light to moderate rain occurred in most parts of Southwest China, southeastern Tibet, Hainan Island, Taiwan Island and other places. Among them, there were heavy rains (25-45 mm) in southwestern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet.

In northern Xinjiang, central and western Inner Mongolia, Hexi of Gansu, and eastern coastal areas of Jiangnan, there are 4-6 winds, and local winds in the Shankou area of ​​Xinjiang can reach 7-8 (see Figure 1).

  From 08:00 on November 5th to 08:00 on 6th, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northern Heilongjiang, eastern and southern Qinghai, southern Gansu, southern Ningxia, northeastern Tibet, and northern Sichuan plateau. , There is heavy snowfall locally.

There were light to moderate rains and local heavy rains in parts of eastern Northwest China, southwestern Shanxi, southeastern Tibet, most of southwestern China, and Hainan Island.

In some areas of eastern Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Hexi of Gansu, etc., there are winds of force 4 to 6. Among them, the wind force of Xinjiang Shankou area can reach force of 7 to 8.

There is blowing sand locally in western Inner Mongolia (see Figure 2).

  From 08:00 on November 6 to 08:00 on November 7, there was light snow or sleet in some areas in northeastern Inner Mongolia, northwest Heilongjiang, southern Qinghai, northern Tibet, and northern Sichuan plateau, with moderate snow in local areas.

There were light to moderate rains in the eastern part of the Northeast, most of the southwest, and parts of Taiwan Island. Among them, there was heavy to heavy rain (50-65 mm) in the southeastern part of Taiwan Island.

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia, Hexi of Gansu, northeastern Northwest China, and western North China, and 6 to 7 winds in parts of southern Taiwan Island.

There is blowing sand locally in western Inner Mongolia (see Figure 3).
