After investigation, the police issued subpoenas to Li Zhiying, Li Zhuoren and others, accusing them of inciting others to participate in an unauthorized assembly. The case will be brought to the District Court this morning (3rd).

At about 9 o'clock this morning, Li Zhiying arrived at the court, and Li Zhuoren, Liang Guoxiong and other defendants also arrived.

  According to Hong Kong’s “East Net” report, after investigation, the Hong Kong police issued subpoenas to Li Zhiying, Li Zhuoren and several “stake” standing committee members, respectively accusing them of inciting others to participate in unapproved assembly, and knowingly participating in unapproved assembly. A total of 26 people have been charged so far.

Two of the defendants, Luo Guancong and Zhang Kunyang, have left Hong Kong and have been absent from the hearing before. The court has issued an arrest warrant to them. When they are arrested and brought to justice, they will be taken to the court for trial as soon as possible.

  According to reports, the Hong Kong District Court will deal with the remaining 24 defendants on the 3rd, including Li Zhiying.

According to the "Public Security Ordinance," the three charges mentioned above are punishable by five years' imprisonment once they are convicted through indictment procedures.

  In addition, "Stake" Chairman Li Cheuk-ren, Vice-Chairmen He Junren and Zou Xingtong, Secretary Cai Yaochang and Standing Committee Members Zhang Wenguang, Mai Haihua, Yin Zhaojian, Zhao Enlai, Liang Yaozhong and Liang Jinwei, Labor Party Chairman Guo Yongjian and "FDC" deputy convener Chen Haohuan, etc. A total of 13 people were each charged with one count of inciting others to participate in an unauthorized assembly, alleging that they illegally incited others to participate in an unauthorized assembly without legal authority or reasonable excuse outside the fountain in Victoria Park, Hong Kong in June 2020. .

  Among the 13 defendants mentioned above, except for Li Zhiying, who was not charged with other charges, the remaining 12 defendants were each charged with one crime of knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly.

Li Zhuoren was also charged with one count of holding an unauthorized assembly, which accused him of knowingly holding an unauthorized assembly.

  In addition, the police also issued subpoenas to 13 other people accusing them of knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly, including former Legislative Council Members Yang Sen, Liang Guoxiong, Ho Xiulan and Zhu Kaidi, "Stake" Liang Guohua, and Legislative Council Member Hu Zhiwei , Former members of "Hong Kong All Wills" Huang Zhifeng, Luo Guancong and Yuen Ka Wai, Kwun Tong District Councillor Leung Kai Ching, Tsuen Wan District Councilor Shun Aohui, Ho Guilan, Zhang Kunyang.

They were accused of being on the same day and in the same place, together with other unknown persons, knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly without legal authority or reasonable excuse.

  Li Zhiying is currently involved in several cases. He is also charged with participating in and organizing unapproved demonstrations and inciting others to participate in unapproved gatherings on August 18, 31 and October 1, 2019. He was charged with a total of 2 items. Organizing an unauthorized assembly and 3 crimes of participating in an unauthorized assembly, each of which can be sentenced to a maximum of 5 years in prison. The case was arraigned before the Chief Judge Gao Jinxiu of the District Court on September 18. Li Zhiying pleaded not guilty at the time.
