Green Day offers coffee to voters in line

The musicians of Green Day made a strong gesture towards the American voters who are lining up to elect their next president on November 3.

The group, originally from Oakland, has teamed up their Oakland Cofffee Works company with World Central Kitchen to serve coffee to those waiting to express their democratic power.

You know how important your vote is.

We want it to be easier for everyone, so we're donating 10,000 cups of coffee to those waiting in Oakland, ”said bassist Mike Dirnt, co-founder of Oakland Coffee Works, in a video posted to Twitter.

"So many of us have more than we need, while so many of us are in need," tweeted the rapper, returning from his wife Kim Kardashian's birthday celebrations on a private island in the Tahiti side.

A comment that did not fail to provoke the hilarity of its subscribers.

"Imagine being a guy who thinks God wanted him to be rich, and tell his millions of followers that they don't need anything," one tweet replied.
