Four Covid-19 patients from Avignon transferred to Brittany

According to a press release from the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of the Paca region, four patients with Covid-19 and hospitalized in Avignon will be transferred this Wednesday to hospitals in Lorient and Vannes, in Brittany, in order to to "relieve the resuscitation services in the region".

"As a reminder, last week, six patients hospitalized at the Avignon hospital center were already transferred to the Brittany region", writes the ARS in this press release.

In Vaucluse, the health situation is considered "worrying" by the authorities.

"The incidence rate is currently 664 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants," the ARS recalls in its press release.

It is the highest rate in our region and also the ninth most affected department.

To date, one in four Vauclusians who are tested is positive for Covid-19 ”.
