Driving schools partly closed during the new confinement

Driving schools are not authorized to provide theoretical or driving lessons during this new confinement.

This is what the delegation to road safety said this weekend, reports BFMTV.

However, unlike last spring, the highway code and driving license exams may well take place.

This authorization should make it possible to avoid congestion and the delay taken following the first confinement.

Certain activities maintained

But the situation worries professionals.

The latter are not even authorized to offer their students one or more hours of driving just before taking the exam.

In addition, professionals fear that the number of potential candidates for the exam will quickly be limited.

According to the delegation to road safety, the driving schools will still be able to continue their activities on "medical commissions, psychotechnical test centers, all the tests of professional road driver titles", specifies BFMTV.

An insufficient field in the eyes of professionals, who fear having to put part of their teams on short-time work.
