He was left at the end of August last year just before he took part in the air guitar world championships in Finland where he finished in 14th place.

More than a year later, Vincent Michel, alias Lord Scrat, will find his fictitious guitar in front of the cameras of M6.

Aged 29, he will be on the set of

La France has an incredible talent

this Tuesday evening,

which has just started its fifteenth season.

A somewhat unexpected participation for the 2019 French air guitar champion, no more connected than that by the castings or the telecrochets.

"It was not me who applied, it was the production which contacted me directly at the start of the year," he says.

At the time, the young man, originally from Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor), was then in New Zealand where he traveled and did odd jobs.

"I hesitated a little when they called me but air guitarist friends who have already participated in the show in their country finally convinced me", assures the showman, who started his career more than ten years.

"The air guitar conveys a message of benevolence and peace"

Back in France since this summer, Lord Scrat is preparing to let his madness explode in prime time on M6.

The opportunity for him to introduce the general public to air guitar, this technique consisting in mimicking the gestures of a guitarist without having an instrument in his hands.

"This allows people to talk about the discipline and the values our community defends," assures the man who had the motto of air guitarists "Make Air Not War" tattooed on the calf.

“We try to convey a message of benevolence and peace,” he assures us.

Because when you hold an air guitar in your hands, you can't hold a gun.

And then it also feels good to play around and dance like an idiot, especially at this time!

"

Drummer in his spare time and addicted to hard rock, Lord Scrat has in any case planned to let go in front of the jury and viewers, counting on his crazy costume and his ardor to seduce them.

"It will change me a bit from the atmosphere of concerts and festivals to which I am used, underlines the Breton.

I will try to be a little lighter with songs that the audience knows.

But count on me to do the show!
