The beaches are not off limits in Brittany.

In fact, they remain open but only to the privileged who live less than a kilometer from the sea. On Sunday, five walkers paid the price in Lannion, in the Côtes d'Armor.

Coming to take the air on the charming beach of Beg-Léguer, they were fined by the police, reports

Ouest-France

.

According to the daily, these five walkers lived ten kilometers from the beach and therefore were not allowed to go there.

The latter would also have uttered hateful remarks contesting the containment measures.

The day before, walkers who had traveled two kilometers had been called to order by the authorities but without being fined.

The police warn that they will now crack down on compliance with the one kilometer zone allowed around the home.

In March, all Breton beaches were prohibited from access, in particular because of the large number of walkers.

Reopened at the time of deconfinement, these spaces had sometimes had to be closed at night in certain areas to avoid nocturnal gatherings.
