The book is about Sigge who moves with her mother and siblings from Stockholm to Skärblacka, home to her grandmother and her boarding house full of stuffed animals.

And on the spot, Sigge has a plan - to go from freak to becoming immensely popular in 59 days.

- It means so much to me that those I want to write for have read and like my book!

And especially now that I am in the final phase of the sequel, it will be extra fun that the jury liked the book so much, says Jenny Jägerfeld in a press release.

In the motivation, the jury, which consists of five sixth-graders from Årstaskolan in Stockholm, writes that My magnificent life is both fun and serious: “We all struggle with something, just like Sigge, and it is nice to know that you are not alone.

It's good to be able to joke but maybe not about everything and the author balanced the humor with the seriousness really well. ”

The other nominees were Vi går varvet by Ina Lagerwall, The Family by Cecilia Lidbeck, The False Rose by Jacob Wegelius and In Waiting for My Unusual Life by Pär Sahlin.
