An Egyptian series dealing with vitiligo and being on the "trend"

After the episodes of "I need to live" topped the trend on social media, author Najla Al-Hadini expressed her happiness with the positive feedbacks achieved by the work.

And she stressed the need to educate the community about Vitiligo to protect those with it from bullying, especially in schools and universities, with the emphasis that it is a non-contagious disease.

Najla Al-Hadini added, in statements to one of the Egyptian morning programs, that there are many celebrities and artists suffering from vitiligo and have a large number of followers and supporters on social media, stressing that "the vitiligo patient does not have a problem to hide because of it."

The episodes of "I Need to Live" were widely praised for dealing with a new topic in the Egyptian drama, which is "Vitiligo" and the suffering of those with it from those around them.

The episodes deal with the story of "Noor" who suffers from the disease and how society deals with her.

The episodes are written by Najla Al-Hudaini and directed by Maryam Ahmadi, and starring Jamila Awad, Najla Badr, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Khaled Anwar, Salma Abu Deif, Firas Saeed, Basem Mughniyeh, Salwa Muhammad Ali, and shown in the series “But I”, which includes separate stories.
