　At the event site, Wu Yan, vice chairman of the China Science Writers Association and professor of Southern University of Science and Technology, released the "2020 China Science Fiction Industry Development" report.

He believes that although China's sci-fi industry has fallen for a while due to the impact of the epidemic, its development still maintains a steady upward trend.

　In the past year, China’s science fiction (industry) has developed steadily and upwards. The total value of the industry for the year is 65.871 billion yuan, a big increase from 45.635 billion yuan in 2018. This is a basic situation. We have maintained a high-speed The momentum of growth.

　[Explanation] Huai Jinpeng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Executive Vice Chairman, and First Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology, introduced in his speech that the development of China's science fiction industry and industry is showing vigorous vitality, and many departments, local governments and all sectors of society have given high degrees Attention and support.

The social institutions and industrial mechanisms of science fiction are growing rapidly, and China's science fiction career has ushered in a strong momentum of development.

The sense of responsibility, cooperation, loyalty and other family-national sentiments shown in "The Wandering Earth" stimulated the upsurge of patriotic dedication and active participation in science fiction in the whole society.

　[Explanation] Chen Jining, deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, stated in his speech that, looking at the laws of the world's scientific and technological development, the development of science fiction is almost synchronized with the migration and changes of the science fiction innovation center.

In this process of change, a large number of outstanding scientists and science fiction works have been produced in all relevant countries.

　[Explanation] Since 2016, the China Science Fiction Conference has been successfully held for five sessions, and has attracted widespread attention from the science fiction industry and the majority of science fiction fans.

This conference focuses on the development of science fiction film and television and the gathering of science fiction industry, which will further help promote the development and progress of China's science fiction industry.
