Although the journalist and political analyst Magdy Shendi, editor-in-chief of Al-Mashhad newspaper, ruled out Cairo’s resorting to a military solution, stressing that it preferred a political solution to persuade Ethiopia to change its position on the management of the Renaissance Dam, he stressed Cairo’s satisfaction and satisfaction with the military establishment in Sudan, which he said had chosen Standing by the Sudanese interests and non-alignment with Ethiopia, as former Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir used to do, only because of political spoilage in Cairo.

As for the Ethiopian political analyst, Kizam Tadesse, he confirmed that Addis Ababa excludes Cairo and Khartoum from resorting to a military solution, stressing that it has taken the necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized flights over the dam, and described the US President's statements regarding the Renaissance Dam bombing as reckless statements.

Tadesse considered that Al-Burhan's visit to Ethiopia comes within the framework of diplomatic relations, indicating that the three countries will continue their negotiations on the Renaissance Dam.

But Ziauddin Bilal did not rule out resorting to the military option after the end of the US elections, if Addis Ababa insisted on its policy of dealing with the issue of the Renaissance Dam.
