On November 1, the 2020 China Science Fiction Conference with the theme "Scientific Dreams Create the Future" opened in Beijing Shougang Park.
The conference was co-sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology (China Association for Science and Technology) and the Beijing Municipal Government. It was conducted in a combination of online and offline methods. More than 300 representatives from China's science and technology circles, science fiction circles, film and television circles, and science fiction enthusiasts attended the conference, and more than 10 people Scientists, sci-fi writers, sci-fi circles and representatives of global sci-fi institutions and organizations from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and other countries participate in online exchanges.
