Sir Thomas Sean Connery, best known for his role as James Bond, is an Academy Award winner, a two-time BAFTA and three-time Golden Globe Award winner.

The actor has appeared in more than 70 films, including seven films about agent 007.

He was born on August 25, 1930 in Scotland, in Edinburgh. Connery got a job at the Edinburgh Royal Theater.
