“We regret to inform you that Gennady Selyutsky, Honored Artist of Russia, teacher and former soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, passed away yesterday.
We express our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the outstanding artist and teacher, ”the theater said.
It is noted that Selyutsky in 1956-1990 performed on the stage of the Leningrad Opera and Ballet Theater.
