Police in Chongqing City, Al-China, have detained a man who threw a large amount of cash from his apartment window onto the street, causing traffic chaos.
Chinese police arrested the man after he spread a large amount of banknotes from the window of his 30th-floor apartment.
According to the "Guardian"
, the police said that the young man, who was believed to be drunk, started throwing money from the window into the street, which led to a halt in traffic after drivers stopped their cars in the middle of the street and went to collect banknotes.
As a result, the police were called and the man was arrested.
The police said in a statement that he has been detained for drug use and is under investigation and will be receiving treatment.
