Xinjiang Bulletin: All 14 people in Shufu's second nucleic acid test were positive

  China News Service, Urumqi, October 29 (Reporter Sun Tingwen and Zhao Yamin) On the evening of the 29th, Wang Xijiang, deputy director of the Xinjiang Kashgar District Center for Disease Control and Prevention, notified that the second free nucleic acid test for all employees in Shufu County was carried out on the 29th.

As of 19:00 on the 29th, 14 people were positive and the rest were negative.

The people who tested positive for the nucleic acid test included 13 people from Zhanmin Township, Shufu County and 1 person from Wukusake Town, all of whom were under quarantine medical observation. They were all connected to the Zhanmin Township Three Village Factory.

  In the evening of the same day, the Press Office of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held the fifth press conference on the prevention and control of the Kashgar epidemic. At the press conference, Wang Xijiang notified the situation of the epidemic situation and nucleic acid testing in Shufu County, Kashgar.

  Wang Xijiang said that as of 24:00 on October 28, there are currently 45 confirmed cases in Kashgar (all asymptomatic infections were transferred to diagnosis), and 138 asymptomatic infections were reported in Shufu County.

  According to him, on October 27, the Kashgar area completed the nucleic acid test for all employees. Except for the 183 people reported in Shufu County, all were negative.

According to domestic and foreign experience and epidemiological rules, as the incubation period progresses, some close contacts who have a negative nucleic acid test in the early stage may show a positive result in the later test and become confirmed cases or asymptomatic infections.
