Julien Courbet will host three hours of live daily -

Wlad SIMITCH / M6

  • Julien Courbet, already at the helm of

    It can happen to you

every day for two hours on RTL, exports his show on M6.

  • The channel will broadcast the program simultaneously on radio and TV for an hour and a half, then offer an exclusive version for an additional hour.

  • For Julien Courbet, who will therefore be live from 9:30 am to 12:35 pm from Monday to Friday, it will be “compulsory nap” after the broadcast.

He knows the show by heart, the places are familiar to him and his speakers are long-time colleagues.

It is therefore in his little shoes that Julien Courbet will land on M6 next Monday for the launch of the televised version of

It can happen to you

, the program he has hosted daily for nearly twenty years on RTL.

The promise is clear: we do not change anything that made the success of the show.

On the program, car, work, insurance, health, leisure and scams of all kinds.

All solved by Julien Courbet and his team, real iron hands in velvet gloves.

"Live changes everything"

Julien Courbet had been calling for a live television consumer assistance program for years.

When he hosted

Undoubtedly

from 1994 to 2008 on TF1, it was recorded (difficult to have everyone on the phone on a Friday evening at 11pm, at the same time).

So when M6 asked him to transpose the radio show on his antenna, the agreement was quickly concluded.

"I've never done it live on TV and it changes everything in the adrenaline on set, in the reactions we can have and I've been fighting for years to make this show happen live," said Julien Courbet.

When we are live, it changes everything because it holds incredible surprises.

"

Surprises, there should be.

This Wednesday, during rehearsals filmed under live conditions which

20 Minutes

attended, the host was not taken down by his interlocutor, the manager of a car dealership reluctant to make a gesture towards an aggrieved customer.

It must be said that the clock is ticking and that he is regularly reminded by the headset.

Not wasting time and keeping viewers attentive, these are the missions of Julien Courbet who cultivates the art of permanent rebound.

“If we want to fight against platforms, TV has to take control with the direct by doing lots of things that can happen at any time.

This is why the direct must resume its place on TV, ”he argues.

A "boosted" version of the radio format

It is out of the question to jeopardize the radio program which will keep its usual hours.

The antenna will be taken on RTL at 9:30 am and the broadcast will start simultaneously on M6 thirty minutes later, at 10:05 am.

It can happen to you for

an hour and a half, so

it

will be shown on both radio and television.

Then, from 11:30 am, the program will be broken down into a third part lasting one hour on M6 only.

“Adding a third hour, that means compulsory nap behind because we are completely empty, slips Julien Courbet.

It's going to require a slightly tighter lifestyle.

"

Despite this list of schedules which seems somewhat indigestible, the faithful of the radio show will see nothing but fire.

But if they are at home, they will be able to follow the negotiations from their sofa and on video.

What a bonus!

It can happen to you

is the most watched show in France," says Julien Courbet.

Radio should not be considered the poor relation because radio is prime time, which is not at all the case with M6.

In any case, it must not be altered by the fact that it is filmed.

"

More than a simple radio show filmed and broadcast on TV, the host promises "a boosted capture".

The two versions will take place

on the

Capital

and

19.45 stage

, with three experts alongside Julien Courbet and negotiators and journalists live from RTL studios.

The novelty that could make the difference is the presence of five special envoys in the regions who will go as close as possible to the complainants and their interlocutors.

Objective displayed by the channel: to play more the card of proximity.
