Scalateaterns chooses to close and moves all planned performances to December.

The decision was made by the theater's management after the Public Health Agency issued new, stricter general guidelines in Stockholm, among other places.

- We feel that we want to close, so we simply close tomorrow.

Unlike the previous rules which were a bit contradictory, this is quite clear and general advice.

So even if it is not a law, we of course take our responsibility for infection control and do not want to contribute to the spread of infection, says the theater's co-owner Michael Lindgren.

The "Grotesco" duo Michael Lindgren and Henrik Dorsin had a sneak premiere last week for the major venture "Scalarevyn".

The revue was intended to be played in front of a reduced audience this autumn, but is now being moved forward.

- Our socially distant performances that we have planned and have sold in the next few weeks, we move until December.

If the infection control mode allows, then we play, otherwise we have closed, Lindgren says.
