The British judiciary will issue its verdict, next Monday, in the lawsuit filed by Johnny Depp against the British newspaper "The Sun", after accusing him of insulting his ex-wife, American actress Amber Heard.

Judge Andrew Nicole will video read his verdict.

Johnny Depp met Amber Heard during the filming of "The Ram Diary" in 2011 and they got married in February 2015 in Los Angeles, and they divorced in early 2017 amid great media fanfare.

During a trial that lasted three weeks and was widely resonated in the media, the London Supreme Court delved into the actors' married life, sometimes reviewing its minutest details.

The actress touched on "years" of "physical and psychological" violence, allegations that Johnny Depp categorically denied.

The 57-year-old American actor said that he had never beaten any woman, as confirmed by written testimonies from his former partners Vanessa Parady and Winona Ryder.

The actor noted that it was Heard who was violent against him.

David Sherburne, the actor's lawyer, asked the judge to "whitewash" Johnny Depp's "shameful and erroneous accusations" that led him to bring this "dire" case.

As for Amber Heard (34 years), who was one of the witnesses who gave their testimonies at the trial, she kept her statements, sorry for presenting "shocking and intimate details" of her life with Johnny Depp in front of the court and "spreading them all over the world."
