[Explanation] On October 27, a wildfire broke out in Dapu Village, Zhangpu County, Fujian, covering an area of about 40 mu.
The main vegetation is weeds and a few eucalyptus trees, and there are no important facilities around.
At about 9:10 that night, the Longyan Detachment of the Fujian Forest Fire Brigade sent 65 firefighters from Longyan, Zhangzhou, and Xiamen to the fire area.
[Explanation] After the forest fire rescue team arrived at the fire site, they used drones to conduct surveys and found that there were mainly two fire lines on the fire site. The continuous fire line on the northeast side was larger, about 1500 meters long, and the intermittent fire line on the southwest side was smaller, about 300 meters long. .
The location of the fire site is mostly stone mountains, and the road uphill is steep and rugged. The terrain conditions are very unfavorable for forest fire rescue personnel to bring equipment close to the line of fire.
[Explanation] After a difficult trek, at 0:15 on the 28th, the forest firefighters reached the line of fire and adopted the "one-point breakthrough, two-wing advance" tactics, and successfully opened the breach on the northeast side of the fire field. The line of fire fought east, and the second echelon fought west along the line of fire.
It only took 17 minutes. The line of fire on the northeast side was basically put out and handed over to local guards.
The team moved to the northwest side of the line of fire.
Proceed along the steep rocky mountain and arrive at the fire line on the northwest side to fight.
