"The French, known to be champions of paid content piracy, are 57% opposed to paying, says Yves Bardon, head of the Ipsos Center College at Le Figaro. France is one of the countries where this proportion is highest. strongest in the world with Russia (62%). But beware, this resistance to pay applies as much for information as for entertainment content. It is a general feeling that continues: what is online must be free access."

The risk being that this primacy of the free does not benefit the contents of disinformation and the rumors.
