For example, Hukou County allocated 1.08 million yuan for patrol funds and established an ecological patrol team composed of 33 members of the rivers and lakes (Yangtze River, Poyang Lake).

Jinxian County invested 2.46 million yuan to build a remote monitoring system and built 15 infrared high-definition probes in the hinterland of the lake area.

The newly built area will increase the protection fund from 500,000 yuan to 900,000 yuan, and use amphibious vehicles and drones to carry out patrol work.

  Poyang Lake, located in the north of Jiangxi Province and the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is the largest freshwater lake in China, an internationally important wetland, and the largest wintering migratory bird habitat in Asia.

From October to March of the following year, more than 95% of the world’s white cranes, more than 80% of the Eastern white stork, and more than 70% of the white-naped cranes live through the winter in the Poyang Lake Reserve.
