In the autumn breeze, eat crabs.

The Asian small-clawed otters living in the Guangzhou Zoo have also welcomed their first crab meal this fall.

Regardless of the cute appearance of the otter, it is cruel, accurate and fast to eat the crab.

As the top predator and flagship species of the river ecosystem, the otter is a small but full carnivore of the mustelidae. It loves to eat fish, shrimp, crabs and some invertebrates in freshwater.

Otters have high requirements for water quality, live in groups and love to swim. People once gave it the nickname "water ghost".

In recent years, human over-hunting and environmental pollution have caused a sharp decline in the number of Asian small-clawed otters, and there are only a few places where there are a small number of groups.

In China, the Asian small-clawed otter has been included in the national key protected wildlife list.
