Listed more than 50 companies wishing to enter the decommissioning work of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant October 27, 4:07

Fukushima Prefecture and TEPCO are conducting activities to directly visit companies and listen to information such as technical capabilities in order to encourage the participation of local companies in the decommissioning work of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and lead to reconstruction. It means that we have listed more than 50 companies that want to enter the market.

In Fukushima Prefecture, the decommissioning business is expected to play a part in economic recovery, but it is not easy for local companies to enter due to barriers such as technology and experience.

For this reason, prefectures, countries, TEPCO, etc. visited local companies directly from this summer, gathered information such as technical capabilities, and listed more than 50 companies wishing to enter by October.

Of these, the company in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, which manufactures parts for precision machinery, also inspects the factory and has the technical ability to produce a wide variety of products in a short delivery time even in small quantities and to consistently produce from design to installation. I was sure that there was.

Mitsutaka Watanabe, a director of this company, said, "I don't know about decommissioning at all, so I'm grateful for this kind of support as a foothold. I think that when work comes, it will lead to future reconstruction."

We would like to share the listed company information with major manufacturers that are coordinating decommissioning work, and increase opportunities to request work from local companies.
