The Public Assistance of Marseilles Hospitals (AP-HM) will “deprogram non-urgent operations from this week”;
learned
20 Minutes
from the AP-HM.
This decision aims to help caregivers cope with the growing number of coronavirus patients admitted to Marseille hospitals, and in particular to the various intensive care units.
Since the daily count started in August, a peak of admission was reached this Saturday at the AP-HM, with 208 patients with coronavirus treated at the AP-HM, including 55 in intensive care.
An almost constant figure this Sunday, with 204 Covid-19 patients including 54 in intensive care.
According to Mediapart, the AP-HM has set itself the objective of deprogramming a quarter of the planned operations.
Contacted, the AP-HM told
20 Minutes
not to confirm this rate.
