The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage is preparing to participate in the 39th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which will be launched this year under the slogan "The World Reads From Sharjah", from the fourth to the 14th of next November at the Sharjah Expo Center.

Fatima Saif Bin Hariz, Director of Research and Studies Department at the center, said: “The Sharjah exhibition is one of the three largest exhibitions in the world, and the center’s presence in this forum sheds light on its research, studies and specialized work.”

She added that the center has taken all necessary precautions and measures in its pavilion at the exhibition, to contribute to its role in curbing the spread of the pandemic.

In its pavilion, the center will launch two new publications, and will display the rest of its 25 publications.

The pavilion also includes a special corner for displaying pictures and short films, in support of his journey in heritage revival.

"My Document", one of the initiatives of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, which calls for collecting old documents, photos and documents from individuals and institutions, will display, for the first time, a number of old documents and photos in a special corner of the wing.

In addition, the "first" national heritage radio station of the center will be established to cover the event directly, and there will be meetings with officials and specialists in the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage in the UAE.

The "first" will be found to cover the event directly.
