They trot, sometimes speed up and occasionally turn around in the direction of the camera lens.

A pack of five wolves, crossed by a motorist, was filmed on a road near Saint-Martin-Vésubie.

These are probably the Blacks of Canada, escaped from Alpha Park, destroyed during the October 2 floods in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Posted on Facebook Thursday, the video dates "from the first two days of the wolf getaway," says Christophe Ollivier, of the Pure Montagne mixed union which manages the animal center, interviewed by

A captured animal and another missing

This pack consisted of seven specimens.

Drakkar, one of them, was captured on October 12, ten days after the bad weather, under the orders of the French Biodiversity Office (OFB), still looking for other residents of the park.

According to the video, one of the black wolves of Canada would have left the pack which now has only five animals.

And it is urgent to find them.

Specimens escaped from the park "are used to being fed" and may not survive if they disperse in the wild, explained Eric Hansen, the regional director of the OFB, to

20 Minutes

.

They could also meet wolves present in the natural park of Mercantour in the wild state and which are not of the same race, "which could produce hybridizations".

Blacks in Canada could also “run wild”.
