What will happen from Sunday, October 25 in Belarus?

The opponent in exile, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, has given President Alexander Lukashenko until then to step down.

Since his contested re-election last August, the country has been shaken by large demonstrations violently repressed.

Thousands of arbitrary arrests among demonstrators and acts of torture have been denounced by human rights organizations.

Almost 700 Belarusians took refuge in Poland.

Report in the town of Biala Podlaska, near the border.
