The president will surely know the fable of Peter and the wolf.

The moral says that whoever abuses the limelight to sell empty messages ends up losing credibility.

After Sánchez's appearance yesterday, we know that Spain is heading into "very tough" months, but

we do not know what the theoretical chief executive has done to prevent it or what he intends to do in the future

.

He did not appear to announce concrete measures to stop the wave but to execute the umpteenth political trick for

tidista, the umpteenth operation of blackmail to the opposition: to test the turn to the center carried out by Pablo Casado to force him to support a state of alarm that annuls the PP and returns extraordinary powers exclusively to the president.

The usual in Sánchez: never loyal negotiation, always the

swallow it disguised as pactism

.

And transfer responsibility for difficult decisions to others.

Although in the meantime the virus is primed again with our country.

Is this presiding over a government? "Determination, social discipline and unity," Sánchez asked.

Just the three things that the management of this pandemic has lacked.

It is worth briefly reviewing the milestones of Sánchez's execution.

He was fatally late for the first wave.

He confined with a severity that brings the ruin to come.

He wasted months of alarm to adapt health legislation

to the fight against a new disease without resorting to constitutional exceptions, as requested by PP, Cs and even the PNV.

He de-escalated without order or clear criteria.

He declared the virus defeated and encouraged the Spanish to travel in summer without making preparations to face the warned second wave.

The difficult management in autonomous hands was inhibited and abandoned while blaming the citizen's relaxation of the outbreaks.

While asking for unity, he confronted Ayuso

To undermine it politically to the point of overreaching and receiving judicial reproach from the courts, he reacted with arrogance to which he imposed an alarm located in Madrid while neglecting Navarra, whose data worsened as those of Madrid improved.

And now that the scope of the pandemic is growing everywhere, the President of the Government stands still waiting for the PP to beg for the alarm, that autonomies governed by socialists or nationalists such as the Basque Country, Asturias or Extremadura demand in unison the state of alarm seems part of a coordinated strategy to compromise the PP, which recalls that

He has been proposing an alternative legal framework for many months - Calvo promised it in May! -, less damaging to fundamental freedoms and the productive fabric

.

If Sánchez's will were sincere, he would have worried about exploring that route with Casado, whom he summons in public and does not call in private.

The day is near when the citizens get fed up with this blame game.

Spain is supposed to have a Prime Minister.

And their duty is not to occupy the news or continue playing to erode the opposition, but to manage a pandemic.
