For several months, a man has been stranded at his home, in a house in the poor Saint-Jacques district, in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales).

This fifty-year-old, who weighs nearly 300 kg, is stuck on the ground, since a fall.

Since then, he has remained seated, without moving, in dilapidated accommodation.

His relatives move heaven and earth to be helped to take care of him, and to evacuate him.

In vain.

His lawyer, Jean Codognès, alerts the state.

He sent a letter on Thursday to the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, to examine the fate of this man.
