On October 21st, the audience admired the works collected by the Uffizi Gallery at the preview.

This year coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and Italy. The Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Uffizi Gallery of Italy co-organized the special exhibition for the first time-"Botticelli and His Extraordinary Time and Space-Uffizi Gallery Collection Exhibition". As one of the projects celebrating the cultural exchange between China and Italy this year.

The exhibition will open on October 23 to show the public the artistic characteristics and culture of the Renaissance from the 15th to the 16th century.

This exhibition is lent by the Uffizi Gallery of Italy to 42 precious collections. Through the depiction of portraits and religious subjects, it reflects the humanistic spirit pursued by the artists at that time.

The exhibition focuses on the works of Sandro Botticelli, and also exhibits important works by Philip Lippi and other masters of the same period.
