In September, Dagens Nyheter invited Greta Thunberg to talk about the media and the climate crisis.

She then directed strong criticism at the newspaper itself, and other media, for not addressing the climate issue with enough seriousness.

In response to the criticism, DN leaves the newspaper to the climate activist, who will be the editor-in-chief for a day in December and thus be involved in deciding on the content.

- I do not think so many opinion texts and disaster descriptions, rather many reviews that show what reality looks like, where we are right now and which profoundly explain the climate crisis.

And interviews with people who have a lot of knowledge, for example researchers, says Greta Thunberg to Dagens nyheter.

According to DN's responsible publisher Peter Wolodarski, however, she will collaborate with the magazine's editors on her ideas.

He also believes that the journalistic work will take place according to professional routines.
