[Explanation] Xinjiang Manas National Wetland Park is a national wetland reserve and is located at the main road for migratory bird migration from Central Asia to the Indian Peninsula.

Migratory birds in this area took off from East Asian countries, passing through my country's Xinjiang, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and other western regions, and finally reached the northern Indian Peninsula and Africa.

At present, at the peak of migratory bird migration, tens of thousands of geese, egrets, cormorants, mallards and other more than 10 kinds of migratory birds inhabit the wetland shallow area for food. These migratory birds will continue to migrate south after supplementing energy.

[Explanation] Recently, the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Manas County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang organized the second fishery resource proliferation and release activity in Manas National Wetland Park in 2020, and released 200,000 fry for water conservation and strengthened the food chain in the waters. The diversity of the water environment promotes a virtuous cycle of the water ecological environment and ensures a food source for migratory birds inhabiting the wetland park.

Our wetland park has ushered in the peak period of migratory bird migration, and the number has now reached tens of thousands. This multiplication and release can firstly increase the species and number of fish in the wetland, and secondly, it can ensure that these migratory birds are migrating. There are abundant food in winter. After overwintering, these fishes can give birth to reproduction next spring, which can further increase their number and ensure that the migratory birds living here have food throughout the year, allowing them to live and breed safely. Migration.

[Explanation] This release is the second year that Manas County has undertaken the central financial fishery resource enhancement and release project since 2019. A total of 530,000 fish fry have been released to Manas National Wetland Park.

It plays an active role in maintaining the biodiversity and ecological balance of the waters of the Manas River Basin, and protecting and restoring fish ecological resources in the Manas National Wetland Park.

In accordance with the requirements of the higher authorities, we held a breeding and releasing activity here. This time, mainly grass carp, carp, and silver carp were released, and a total of about 200,000 fish were released. Through this release, we mainly enhanced the internal wetland park. Ecological stability, increase the diversity of biological species, and increase the number of fish populations.

[Explanation] It is understood that since 2010, Manas County has invested 300 million yuan to implement the implementation of returning farmland to wetland, returning grazing land to wetland, returning ponds to wetland, and expanding the area of wetland from the original 90,000 mu to the current 17 There are 331 species of wild animals in the park and more than 200 species of wetland plants.

[Explanation] Manas National Wetland Park is located in Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang, 160 kilometers away from Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang.
