[Explanation] As the weather gradually turns colder, more and more wild swans fly from Bayinbulak to Korla, Xinjiang for wintering. This is the 15th consecutive year that wild swans have come to Korla for wintering.

At present, the number of wild swans has reached 226, and the number is increasing every day.

  By the Peacock River in Korla City, the cries of the overwintering swans are ups and downs. They are playing, foraging, or chasing. Many tourists and citizens have stopped to watch the graceful posture of the swans.

  [Explanation] With the continuous improvement of the local ecological environment, the number of swans coming to overwinter has increased year by year, and the inhabiting time has been extended from 51 days to more than 180 days.

In order to protect the wild swans that come to Korla for overwintering, starting in 2007, a swan squadron has been set up locally and a series of measures have been taken to protect wild swans to live through the winter.
