Hoping for the early termination of the new coronavirus, octopus fried was held in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture, and families and others participated.

About 30 people from all over the prefecture, including families, gathered at Kaiyohaku Park in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture.



Participants first wrote a picture of sea creatures and a message such as "I will not lose to Corona" on a traditional Okinawan octopus called "Kaburaya" using Japanese paper and bamboo sticks.

Then, I moved to the park square and fried octopus high in the sky with the hope that the epidemic of the new coronavirus would end soon.



A girl in the first grade of elementary school from Naha said, "I'm very happy that the octopus is fried. I want to play in various places because the coronavirus disappears quickly."



Hiroki Ashida of the Kaiyohaku Park Management Center, who fried octopus, said, "I think that the octopus was fried and the wishes flew, and the coronavirus also flew."



This octopus fried will be held at 22 national parks nationwide for two days on the 17th and 18th.
