Will the Lyon Festival of Lights take place this year?

Despite the cancellations of the SaintéLyon, the legendary night race scheduled for December 5 and 6, and the Christmas market, the mayor of Lyon is not currently considering giving up the Festival of Lights (December 4-8).

Asked about this during a press point on Thursday, Grégory Doucet confirmed that he was leaving himself until mid-November to make a decision.

What he had already indicated before.

"By then, we will be able to know what are the major trends in the circulation of the virus" he said, still convinced to "succeed the bet" to maintain the event.

Due to sanitary conditions, the party could be reviewed in a minimal form: strolls are planned in the parks of Tête d'Or and Sergent Blandan.

"By being very rigorous on the barrier gestures, very rigorous in the respect of this new measure, we can put all our chances on our side" also estimated the elected ecologist, on the television set of France 3.
