Consideration in the direction of wage increase request in the coalition spring battle Request level will be discussed in the future October 15, 18:31

The Confederation has announced that it will continue to consider raising wages equivalent to a "base-up" while maintaining regular salary increases in the next spring fight.

As the severe economic situation continues due to the influence of the new coronavirus, we would like to proceed with discussions on the level of demand and so on.

At a press conference after the Central Executive Committee, President Kozu of the Confederation clarified the basic idea and "basic concept" for next year's spring fighting policy.

According to this, while maintaining the regular salary increase, we will proceed with consideration in the direction of requesting a wage increase equivalent to a "base increase" that raises the basic salary uniformly.

On the other hand, as the severe economic situation continues due to the influence of the new coronavirus, we would like to decide the level of demand after proceeding with discussions at a debate meeting attended by union members next month.

We also plan to improve the treatment of so-called "essential workers" who work in medical care, long-term care, and logistics that support the lives of society and citizens.

The coalition will decide on a specific policy for next year's spring fight by December.

"The spread of the new coronavirus has had a major impact on the economy and employment, but we would like to seek higher wages to close the gap," said Kozu, chairman of the coalition.
