Gang members add victims through social software, and after establishing a certain emotional foundation, they propose to exchange gifts.

They first sent false shopping screenshots to the victims, and then asked the victims to buy gifts for themselves on their designated websites, which were also operated by the gang behind the scenes.

At the same time, members of the gang falsely claimed that they were broadcasting live on a certain platform, inviting the victim to watch it, and asking the victim to recharge and "swipe" gifts on the live broadcast platform on the grounds that they needed to complete the company's tasks, in order to carry out fraud, and the cumulative number of cases involved was up to 300 million yuan.
